You’ll take get access to employment and construction training opportunities alongside boxing or Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) classes.   \n\n\n\nIt’s all about improving confidence\, discipline and teamwork\, with sessions coached by ‘Meatball Molly’ McCann and Tony Bellew. \n\n\n\nThe construction learning will set you on the right path to a successful career in the building industry. From new homes to world famous football stadiums and everything in between\, you’ll meet renowned guest speakers and learn about:  \n\n\n\n\nAsbestos Awareness \n\n\n\nManual Handling \n\n\n\nFirst Aid \n\n\n\nHealth and Safety in Construction \n\n\n\nMental Health First Aid in Construction \n\n\n\nCustomer Service Skills \n\n\n\nEmployability Skills \n\n\n\nTravel Management\n\n\n\n\nHow long is the course?  \n\n\n\n12 weeks  \n\n\n\nLocation: Ruskin Sports Village\, Ruskin Drive\, St Helens\, WA10 6RP \n\n\n\nWill I get work experience?  \n\n\n\nYou’ll undertake a 4-week work experience placement with a local construction company\, getting hands on experience for your future career.  \n\n\n\nWill I get a qualification?   \n\n\n\nYou’ll leave this course with:   \n\n\n\n\nA CSCS card\, which allows you to work on UK construction sites  \n\n\n\nNCFE Level 1 Certificate Occupational Studies in the Workplace   \n\n\n\nTemporary Traffic Management Basic Course certificate\n\n\n\nMaths and/or English functional skills (if needed)  \n\n\n\n\nWhat can I do next?   \n\n\n\nOnce you’ve completed this course\, you can move straight into employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
