Six years after it was originally proposed, a new Sainsbury’s store will be opening early next year. It will give a boost to the Meols Cop retail park with this huge flagship store and petrol station. As part of the agreement to open the new store, the existing Sainsbury’s on St. George’s Place will also remain open for a minimum of 5 years.
