First virtual apprenticeship final assessment for Liverpool City Council
Despite working from home, Tom Foulkes, an apprentice on the Liverpool City Council Local Transport Policy Development Team has completed his final apprenticeship assessment remotely, thanks to the Google Hangouts web-based platform.
This was the first, remote, end-point assessment the Combined Authority has facilitated and was supported by Elliot McGaffney and the Learning Team. Tom said: “It was simple with no glitches and hopefully everything went well. I’d like to thank Elliot for all the support, and it’s really appreciated. Knowing that support was there allowed me to focus on the assessment.”
Everything did indeed go well for Tom. He achieved a merit in his Team Leader/Supervisor qualification, a well-deserved outcome for all his hard work over the previous 18 months. Congratulations Tom!
