This event is specifically designed for young people aged 16-25 with Learning Disabilities and/or Neurodiverse conditions\, who are looking to gain employment. Come down to the PINS Social Club Liverpool on Duke Street\, Liverpool to get all the details and see what opporutnities suit you most!  \n\n\n\nSupported internships are a structured\, work-based study programme for 16 to 25-year-olds with SEND. The core aim of a supported internship is a substantial work placement\, facilitated by the support of an trained job coach. Supported internships last for a minimum of 6 months\, and up to a year. Alongside their time with the employer\, supported interns complete a personalised study programme delivered by the school or college\, which includes the chance to study for relevant qualifications\, if appropriate\, English and maths. \n\n\n\nEvery young person is supported in the work placement by a trained job coach. The job coach provides in-work support that tapers off\, if appropriate\, as the supported intern becomes familiar with their role. DESCRIPTION:A short webinar focussing on how employers in the Early Years sector can access Levy funds to meet their recruitment and upskilling needs \n\n\n\nTo reserve your free place CLICK HERE \n\n\n\nThe LCR Combined Authority has developed a dedicated package of support for the Early Years sector to widen access to free funding to cover Apprenticeship training costs\, via Apprenticeship Levy Transfer. \n\n\n\nGiven current and future need for increased recruitment and upskilling of existing employees in the Early Years sector we are looking to help facilitate access to Levy funds in order to fully fund apprenticeships which sit on the Full and Relevant qualifications list. \n\n\n\nThe scheme is already working with a range of Apprenticeship Levy paying organisations in order to secure the transfer of Levy funds to local employers in the LCR. £4m has already been transferred and there is significant interest in expanding access to the scheme further to ensure the Early Years sector fully benefits. \n\n\n\nThis short webinar will focus on the support available from the LCR Combined Authority and how employers in the Early Years sector can access Levy funds to meet their recruitment and upskilling needs.
