Transport Operations Supervisor Apprentice

You’ll work alongside experienced members of the Transport Team, learning how a commercial vehicle fleet is actually run behind the scenes.

Day to day, you’ll get hands-on with the trucks and haulage side of the business – helping plan maintenance and MOTs for HGVs, understanding how vehicles are kept safe and roadworthy, and learning how driver hours, tachographs, and paperwork all keep the fleet legally on the road.

You’ll also start to understand how loads are planned, how routes and driver schedules come together, and what it takes to keep a haulage operation running smoothly and compliantly.

You don’t need any experience – that’s what the apprenticeship is for. Alongside your on-the-job training, you’ll work towards a recognised Level 3 qualification, plus the Transport Manager CPC (a qualification that normally costs a lot of money but is fully paid for as part of this role). By the end, you’ll have real hands-on experience in the haulage industry and a professional qualification that can lead into a career as a Transport Manager.

Transport and Warehouse Operations Supervisor Level 3.

The apprenticeship includes regular training with an award-winning training provider TRS Training. You will attend monthly online sessions, and you’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff whilst completing your 13-month, Level 3 apprenticeship.

You will gain your full Transport Manager CPC, with progression to become a full-time Transport Manager and gain further experience and qualifications.
