The Quality Engineering function is responsible for covering a diverse range of Supplier and Engineering issues across Press, Body, Paint and General Assembly.
Key activities include:
- Support the Manufacturing and Quality Operations teams by providing technical leadership to ensure internal and external supplier quality is always maintained
- Ensure the provision of a rapid response to problems experienced by customers to quickly contain issues and generate solutions that ensure continuity of production
- Work closely with suppliers/customers/Service providers to ensure good working relations and excellent communication channels are maintained
- Raise outstanding Engineering concerns with the responsible QPL/Design teams. Steer critical items through Stellantis’ engineering escalation process
- If successful in gaining permanent employment there is potential to progress though the Plant Quality/ Manufacturing/ Engineering organisations with no limit to progression
