Apprenticeship summary
This role will consist of providing general assistance to the whole Practice team and projecting a positive friendly image to patients and other visitors. The candidate will be part of a busy back office admin team. The candidate must adhere to Practice confidentiality policies. You will work and be released to attend college.

Job Responsibilities as part of a team will include;
- Scanning of clinical and non-clinical documents
- Processing information from the ECONSULT system / Booking appointments on the clinical system
- Processing of Prescriptions in line with practice policy
- Clinical Coding in patients medical records from hospital letters
- Processing emails from the Practice NHS email
- Summarising clinical notes
- Supporting with administration of Flu and / or COVID clinics
- Supporting with the administration of Chronic Disease Clinics
- To have a thorough working knowledge of all practice procedures
- To work in accordance with protocols
- To input / extract information from the clinical system
- Registering new patients on the clinical system

- Fortnightly attendance at Riverside College, Widnes
- There may be development opportunities to progress into other roles within the company
