The LCR Combined Authority has developed a dedicated package of support for the Early Years sector to widen access to free funding to cover Apprenticeship training costs, via Apprenticeship Levy Transfer.

Given current and future need for increased recruitment and upskilling of existing employees in the Early Years sector we are looking to help facilitate access to Levy funds in order to fully fund apprenticeships which sit on the Full and Relevant qualifications list.

The scheme is already working with a range of Apprenticeship Levy paying organisations in order to secure the transfer of Levy funds to local employers in the LCR. £4m has already been transferred and there is significant interest in expanding access to the scheme further to ensure the Early Years sector fully benefits.
