Liverpool City Council’s Employment and Skills Team is hosting this event in partnership with Career Connect. This event is specifically for young people aged between 16 -21 and up to 25 for those with a learning difficulty. They must also not be in education, employment, or training (NEET).

For employers, this is an opportunity to promote your organisation’s opportunities, fill vacancies and gain a valuable employee. You will also be helping a young person to kickstart their career whether that be through a training course, an apprenticeship, or a job.

The latest statistics show that in North West England, 13.2% of those between 16-24 are NEET, this is above the national average for England of 12.3% and is up 3.5 percentage points from the previous year. Jobs Fest is a perfect opportunity for both young people and employers to address this problem by matching up young people with the right opportunity for them and the organisation.
